Friends and Neighbors,
We are Americans and we are Hoosiers. Our great state has a long history of success and prosperity, even in the face of great adversity, because of our commitment to hard work, responsibility, and common sense. As we experience a severe recession, it is imperative that we return to the same values and commitments that made Indiana great.
I was raised in Indiana. My parents worked hard in our community. Through watching them dedicate their lives to others, my desire to serve others grew. This led me to work as an Emergency Medical Technician in Indianapolis and Grant County. Later I served some of the most forgotten people in the world in refugee camps spread across the Thailand/Burma border. Today, I am a Neurological Critical Care Nurse at a hospital in downtown Indianapolis.
House District 97 is one of the most diverse districts in Indiana. While our backgrounds, conditions, and families are different, the path to success is the same. I am committed to achieving economic recovery, educational improvements, and lower taxes by supporting:
- Smaller, more transparent government
- Cost-effective education based on choice
- A cap on property tax
- Tax credits for job creating business
- Energy independence
- Create logical, simple and fair district lines (Rethinking Redistricting)
Together, we can bring common sense principles to the decision process instead of playing political games. It is your money, your government, and your future. Common sense leadership will bring our families, communities, and state to victory. I look forward to serving with you.
Sincerely,
Wes Robinson
